WORKPLACE CONDUCT POLICY

Clean Freaks is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional working environment for all employees and clients. The following policies outline our expectations regarding conduct, safety, and prohibited behaviors while representing the company or working on company or client property.


DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE POLICY

Clean Freaks maintains a strict drug-free workplace policy to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients, and the general public. All employees are expected to report to work free from the influence of alcohol, illegal substances, or any condition that may impair performance.

Prohibited Behaviors on Company or Client Property:

Employees are prohibited from the use, possession, sale, distribution, manufacture, concealment, receipt, or transportation of the following items or substances while on company time, company property, or client premises:

  1. Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  2. Alcoholic beverages
  3. Drug paraphernalia
  4. Stolen or misappropriated property
  5. Prescription or over-the-counter medications, unless:
    • The medication has been legally prescribed to the employee
    • The employee’s ability to perform job duties safely is not impaired

OFF-THE-JOB CONDUCT 

Employees who are convicted or plead guilty to drug- or alcohol-related charges off the job may also be subject to disciplinary action if the incident affects their ability to perform their duties or harms the reputation of Clean Freaks.


OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE & INSUBORDINATION

Clean Freaks maintains a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful or abusive behavior in the workplace. All employees are expected to treat their coworkers, clients, supervisors, and management with courtesy and professionalism at all times.

Prohibited Behavior Includes:

  • Use of offensive, vulgar, or abusive language
  • Disrespect or insubordination toward supervisors or those in positions of authority
  • Aggressive or combative behavior in any form

Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.


SMOKING POLICY

Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or vaping) is strictly prohibited:

  • Inside or outside of any client’s property
  • In any company vehicle
  • While on duty, during appointments, or when wearing the Clean Freaks uniform

This policy supports safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Violations will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.


WEAPONS & FIREARMS POLICY

To ensure a safe environment, Clean Freaks prohibits the possession or carrying of any weapon or firearm by employees at all times while on:

  • Company property
  • Client property
  • In company vehicles
  • While conducting company business, including travel between job sites

This includes weapons stored in personal vehicles used for work purposes. Possession of a weapon while working for Clean Freaks is grounds for immediate termination.

These policies are conditions of continued employment at Clean Freaks and are enforced to protect the safety, professionalism, and integrity of our workplace.
