Service Agreement & Policies

At Clean Freaks Cleaning Service, Inc. we strive to provide our clients with the best possible service and experience. Please be advised that our service agreement and policies are subject to change at any time without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our services, including pricing, terms, and conditions.  We encourage our clients to review our policies periodically to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of our services following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

By ordering Clean Freaks Cleaning Service, Inc services by telephone, e-mail, or its website the client accepts and agrees to Clean Freaks Cleaning Service, Inc. service agreement.

Guarantee
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied with any part of your service we will return to your home to re-clean the area within 24-hours. Please contact the office as soon as possible during our normal business hours.

Our Employees
All employees go through rigorous training to learn every aspect of the detailed Clean Freaks standard. They know what is required and what is expected on every cleaning visit. For your protection and peace of mind all employees undergo a nationwide criminal background check and reference check during the hiring process. All employees are covered under our workers compensation policy, liability insurance and bond.

Payments Policy
All clients are required to have a valid credit card on file, the card will be charged automatically within 24 hours of service completion.

*NOTE* In an effort to remain green all sales receipts are emailed.   Receipts are emailed the following business day services are rendered.

Tipping: Clean Freaks never requires tipping; however, tips are always appreciated as a kind way to recognize your technician’s hard work. You may tip using the credit card on file after your payment is processed, or leave a cash tip if you prefer.

    • If you won’t be home, please leave the cash tip in a clearly marked envelope or with a note for your Cleaning Tech.
    • If you’re present, you’re welcome to hand it to them directly.

 

Refund Policy
At Clean Freaks, we understand that cleaning is a personal and subjective service. While we do not offer refunds, your satisfaction is very important to us. We proudly stand behind our Service Guarantee: If any task was missed or not completed to your satisfaction, please contact our office within 7 days of your original service date. We’ll gladly return to re-clean the specific area or task at no additional cost.

Please note: Gift certificate purchases are non-refundable.

Price Adjustments
Clean Freaks reserves the right to adjust rates at any time, with advance notice provided. If the needs or condition of your home change, a price adjustment may also be necessary. Rates for regular maintenance cleanings are guaranteed for 12 months from your service start date. If service is discontinued and later reinstated after a gap of 3 months or more, the original rate is no longer guaranteed and a new rate may apply.

Parking Policy
If there is no free public parking within 1 block radius of your home, our customers are responsible for providing our cleaning associates with any one of the following (which must be within a 1 block radius); a permitted parking space (personal or public), a valid parking permit, or cover all parking fees incurred while cleaning your home. If a parking spot cannot be found within a 1 block radius by the cleaning associate nor provided by the customer within a 15 minute window, your appointment will be cancelled/and or rescheduled.  In the event that this occurs you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

Keys and Alarm Systems Policy
Many Clean Freaks clients choose to provide us with a key to their home, and we take that trust seriously. All keys are securely stored in our key safe box to ensure safety and confidentiality.

Please note: We do not return keys by mail. Keys must be returned in person and released only upon presentation of a valid photo ID.

If you have an alarm system, you’re welcome to provide us with instructions for disarming and rearming it. However, we recommend turning off your alarm on the day of your cleaning to avoid accidental triggers or service delays.

Lock Out Policy 
A $75 cancellation fee will be charged if our cleaning technician(s) arrive and are unable to access the home for any reason.

Arrival Window Policy 
If you wish to be present during the cleaning visit, please be advised that we provide arrival windows.  Your Cleaning Technician(s) will arrive anytime within your scheduled arrival window.  You are expected to be present or have made arrangements for us to gain access to your home within your scheduled arrival window.  Failure to do so may result in having to cancel or reschedule your visit, a cancellation fee of $75 will be charged.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
Clean Freaks requires a minimum of 2 business days’ notice (during business hours; we are closed on weekends) to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

    • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 2 business days’ notice will result in a $75 fee, automatically charged to the card on file.
    • Same-day cancellations will be charged the full cost of the scheduled service.

We maintain a strict cancellation policy to ensure fairness to both our team and clients. We kindly ask that you honor this policy.

Tardy
Many things can affect our schedules, such as cancellations, lockouts etc. If we happen to be running late to your appointment you will be contacted as soon as possible and provided with a new expected time of arrival.

Pet Policy
We are pet friendly but appreciate your help in making sure pets are secured and safe on cleaning days. Our office should be made aware of any special requirements in safeguarding your pet(s).  Clean Freaks has the right to refuse service if your pet is displaying any aggressive behavior while uncrated.

For health reasons we have instructed our staff to leave certain items and/or areas untouched; pet homes/beds, litter boxes, vomit, and/or fecal matter. Our teams are advised to clean around these areas. If your pet has an accident, it will be your responsibility to clean it up.

Your Valuables
At Clean Freaks Cleaning Service, Inc., we prioritize the safety and satisfaction of our clients. If you have valuables or heirlooms, including but not limited to any irreplaceable, collectable or expensive objects, it’s preferred that these items are secured and put away to avoid potential accidents. To ensure clarity and understanding, we have established the following policy regarding highly valuable items:

1. Definition of Highly Valuable/Sentimental Items: Highly valuable items include, but are not limited to, fine art, antiques, jewelry, collectibles, electronics, and any other items that hold significant monetary or sentimental value.

2. Service Limitation: Our cleaning service will not be responsible for the cleaning, handling, or movement of highly valuable items. Clients are advised to remove such items from the areas to be cleaned prior to our arrival.

3. Liability Disclaimer: Clean Freaks Cleaning Service, Inc.  shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or theft of highly valuable items left in the premises during the cleaning service. By agreeing to our services, clients acknowledge and accept this limitation of liability.

4. Client Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all highly valuable items are either secured or removed from the cleaning areas. We recommend that clients take necessary precautions to protect their valuable possessions. You are responsible for letting us know of any valuables that you prefer we not clean or handle. Please secure money, credit cards, and check books as well. We are not responsible for missing currency.

5. Acknowledgment: By scheduling a cleaning service with us, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy regarding highly valuable items.

Broken/Damaged Items Policy
At Clean Freaks, our team is trained to treat your home and belongings with the utmost care. While rare, accidents can occasionally happen.  If you believe an item was damaged during your service, it must be reported to our office within 24 hours of service completion so we can properly investigate. If any damage is noticed by our technician, you will be notified in writing immediately.

In the event of damage, Clean Freaks reserves the right to repair or replace the item at our discretion. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for items that were not properly attached, secured, or stable (e.g., loosely hung pictures or objects propped against surfaces).

Cleaning Products, Supplies, and Equipment 
All Cleaning Staff are provided with and trained to use a specific set of products, supplies, and equipment supplied by Clean Freaks Cleaning Service. Your Cleaning Tech or Team will arrive fully equipped with everything needed to service your home.  Clients may choose to provide alternative products, supplies, or equipment if preferred. However, please note that Clean Freaks will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use or misuse of client-provided items, and we do not guarantee results when using cleaning products our team has not been trained to use.

Glass Shower Door(s), Toilet(s), Faucet(s)
Clients are responsible for notifying Clean Freaks if glass shower doors, toilets, or faucets in their home are not fully secure.  If, upon arrival, our Cleaning Team observes that any of these fixtures appear unstable or improperly installed, you will be immediately notified of the potential risk. At that point, you may choose to decline service for that item. If you choose to proceed, you agree not to hold Clean Freaks or its employees liable for any resulting damage.

Clean Freaks is not responsible for damage (including water damage) caused by faulty, loose, or improperly installed fixtures or appliances. This includes, but is not limited to, issues stemming from:

    • Toilet overflows
    • Leaky faucets or pipes
    • Refrigerator water dispensers

Extra Services
If you require extra services or additional cleaning on your scheduled cleaning day, please contact us 48 hours in advance so we may allow the extra time needed at your home and we can give you a quote for the additional services.

Lifting & Climbing & Bending
At Clean Freaks, the safety of our employees is a top priority. To help prevent injury and protect your property, our Cleaning Professionals follow these safety guidelines:

    • Do not climb higher than 8 feet. A safe, stable ladder must be provided by the client if needed.
    • Do not move or lift items weighing more than 20 lbs.
    • Do not clean floors on their hands and knees, except for bathroom floors.

These precautions are in place to avoid personal injury and property damage. If you request that our team move furniture (such as tables or large chairs), Clean Freaks is not responsible for any damage or breakage that may occur due to age, wear, or faulty construction. We are also not liable for any flooring damage that may result from moving furniture.

Additionally:

    • Our team will not move furniture containing electronics.
    • We do not pull out large appliances (e.g., stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
    • If appliances are moved prior to our arrival, we are happy to clean the exposed areas, please ensure they are returned to their proper place afterward.

In-Home Climate Control
In-home temperatures should be comfortable prior to the start of service. Under no circumstances will services be performed in an environment that isn’t physically comfortable for labor. This includes but is not limited to extreme heat or extreme cold. In the event that your appointment is cancelled due to uncomfortable temperatures within your home you will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

Laundry Add-On Policy 
Clean Freaks offers laundry services as an add-on option to regular cleaning visits. This service is billed at the standard hourly rate and cannot be scheduled as a stand-alone appointment.

1. Additional Time & Billing

  • Each load of laundry generally adds up to 30 minutes of service time.
  • Technicians may process up to three standard loads per visit (approximately 1.5 hours of additional time).
  • If laundry causes the visit to exceed the time allotted, additional time will be billed accordingly at the standard rate.
  • Time spent waiting for cycles to finish is billable when within the appointment window; technicians will not wait unpaid once the visit ends.

2. Service Limitation

Clean Freaks will only wash, dry, and fold standard household laundry using the client’s in-home washer and dryer.

We DO NOT handle:

  • Heavily soiled items requiring pre-treating, soaking, or special stain removal
  • Hand-wash, dry-clean-only, or non-machine-safe items
  • Weighted blankets, rugs, or oversized bedding
  • Items that cannot be washed or dried using normal settings

3. Client Responsibilities 

  • Laundry must be pre-sorted and ready for washing prior to the team’s arrival.
  • Clients must provide detergent, softener, bleach, or other preferred products.
  • Bleach may be used only on white loads, if provided and specifically requested by the client.
  • Clients are responsible for verifying that items are machine-safe and colorfast.

4. Liability Disclaimer

Clean Freaks is not responsible for damage, color bleeding, shrinkage, or wear caused by:

  • Manufacturer defects or incorrect care labels
  • Preexisting damage or fabric condition
  • Color transfer between garments
  • Incorrect settings or products supplied by the client
  • Clients assume all responsibility for laundry left in Clean Freaks’ care.

 

Our Cleaning Staff DOES NOT:

  • Clean or remove blood or any bodily fluids, fire or water damage, or mold. We are not trained in these areas nor are we equipped
  • Clean Freaks reserves the right to refuse to service a home with ANY insect infestation (including seasonal). In the event that an infestation is identified, the cleaning staff will leave the property. You will be contacted immediately and charged a cancellation fee.
  • Clean the interior of curio cabinets (will only feather dust exterior)
  • Provide any pet or children-related services, nor empty diaper pails.
  • Clean/Shampoo carpet or upholstery
  • Clean Chandeliers
  • Provide stain removal
  • Wash walls (we spot clean only)
  • Clean exterior of windows
  • Remove Rust
  • Remove Paint
  • Remove Stains (including hard water stains: our team will try their best to remove as much as possible but we cannot make any guarantees)
  • Service outdoor areas
  • Clean areas above the reach of our 1ft step stool  (if you the customer provide a ladder we will clean up to a 8 ft high reach)
  • Clean Animal waste or litter
  • Move or lift items over 20lbs
