  • ATTENDANCE POLICY

Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to providing reliable service to our clients and maintaining a productive work environment. This section outlines Clean Freaks’ expectations regarding work hours, scheduling, and attendance.

HOURS OF WORK – The standard Full-Time work week at Clean Freaks generally consists of 6-7.5hr days, with an average workday totaling approximately 7.5 hours. Typical working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

While these hours represent the general operating schedule, actual working hours may vary based on client needs, job assignments, and seasonal demands.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY & SAME-DAY APPOINTMENTS – All employees are expected to be available and ready to work during their agreed-upon daily start and end times. Openings in your schedule may be filled with same-day appointments to ensure full and efficient daily routes.

Personal plans should not be made during your scheduled work hours, even if there appears to be a gap in your schedule OR if your day appears to end early. Schedules are subject to change, and it is expected that you remain available for the full duration of your agreed upon workday. Refusing assignments due to personal plans made during scheduled hours is not permitted and may be subject to disciplinary action.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING – Employees may request a variation in their work schedule to accommodate personal responsibilities. Any such request:

    Must fall within employer-defined limits
    Is subject to management approval
Will be considered based on the needs of the business and the employee’s job duties

Final determination of work hours rests with the employee’s supervisor, who will assign schedules based on what best supports Clean Freaks’ operational needs.

ARRIVAL WINDOWS – An arrival window is the time that a technician has to make it to a client’s front door to begin cleaning. This is particularly important for clients who are home, however should not be taken advantage of for those that are not as the discipline and practice should remain. Clean Freaks arrival windows are as follows:

    • 1st Arrival Window: 8:00AM-8:30PM
    • 2nd Arrival Window: 10:30AM-12:30PM (*Wednesdays ONLY: 11:30AM-1:30PM)

This day is used for attending the mandatory team meeting and restocking cleaning products and supplies. Employee presence on Turn-In Day is mandatory and considered an essential part of the workweek.

Employees are strongly discouraged from calling off or requesting time off on Turn-In Day. While important or emergency requests may be approved, excessive absences on Turn-In Day may result in disciplinary action.

If you miss Turn-In Day due to an approved, excused absence, it is your responsibility to ensure you have enough supplies to last until the next Turn-In Day you attend. This may require purchasing necessary supplies out of pocket, alternate arrangements will not be made to accommodate missed restocking.

Late arrivals or tardiness to Turn-In Day meetings will result in a formal write-up.

TIME TRACKING: CLOCKING IN AND OUT – All employees are required to clock in and clock out for each scheduled appointment using the designated time tracking system (press START at the beginning and FINISH at the end).

If a technical issue prevents you from clocking in or out, you must contact a manager immediately
